EFT (Tapping)
Tapping your way to freedom
Emotional Free Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Technique is often referred to as "Tapping" or "psychological acupuncture" and uses a two finger tapping technique with a cognitive statement. There are many hybrid versions and some general techniques but few have been tested. Clinical EFT however is more specific and has been extensively researched and tested for efficacy and involves 1:1 work with a Practitioner.

Clinical EFT is a brief psychophysiological intervention combining elements of exposure and cognitive therapy, and somatic stimulation. EFT appears to have an affect on the amygdala (stress centre in the brain) and hippocampus (memory centre) and both play a role in the decision making process when you need to decide if something is a threat. It can also reduce cortisol levels.
